Established in 1995, NAWIC is a prominent Australian not-for-profit organisation. Led by dedicated volunteers, NAWIC is committed to championing and empowering women in the construction industry, enabling them to achieve their fullest potential. NAWIC mission is to drive changes that will aid in the increased recruitment, retention and further vocational development of women within all facets of the construction industry.

This milestone signifies another significant advancement in our ongoing efforts to promote gender equality within the construction sector. Our current employee assistance program will now be provided by NAWIC, meaning services to our current EAP will cease and rollover to NAWIC, having a corporate membership means all our employees are eligible for a free membership with NAWIC, gaining access to the following:

  • Discounts to diverse and exciting events
  • Access to member-only events
  • Opportunities for mentoring programs only open to members
  • Scholarships and Awards only open to members
  • Networking and professional development through shared knowledge and experience
  • Opportunities to participate in Chapter Councils and the National Board
  • Opportunity to nominate for the Chapter Crystal Vision / Excellence Awards only open to members

We are very excited to see where this new membership can take us. We’re currently working on some exciting projects related to this topic, and we can’t wait to share them with you soon.
