VCON had an exciting vision in mind. Their brief was to create a brand-new space that was dark and moody whilst having a soft industrial, yet modern feel. The new design comprised of black timber tones spread throughout the tenancy, paired with natural timber & lighter materials where necessary to create a balance of dark and light. Introducing greenery with lighter carpet zones to ensure the space didn’t feel too dark, yet still emanated a dark and moody atmosphere.

The kitchen space was an important & the most critical space for VCON. This space needed to be used as a multipurpose feature space that could be utilized as an entertainment area for events, as well as town hall meetings with a “bar like” feel. So naturally, this space was designed to be the hero piece. The island bench boasts a stunning end to end marble which can also be spotted as the splashback to the back bar.

The marble splash back comes to life with concealed lighting and bronze accents to create the feeling of being in a bar on a Friday night. To compliment this, the booth seating adjacent to the bar is designed to bring hints of soft industrial elements into the space with feature perforated steel lining the entirety of the booth.
