McCormack was engaged by Neoscape under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) model, enabling close collaboration throughout the design and delivery process. This approach provided greater cost certainty, improved buildability outcomes, and reduced programme risk, ensuring the project was delivered efficiently from concept through to completion.

Located within Melbourne’s iconic 140 William Street, the workplace was designed for an undisclosed client seeking a space that reflected its brand identity while supporting collaboration, wellbeing and future growth. Working alongside Studio 103, the design incorporates a considered use of colour to define distinct zones and activate shared spaces, creating an environment that is both functional and engaging.

The workplace maximises the building’s abundant natural light and expansive city views, complemented by biophilic elements that enhance employee wellbeing and contribute to a more connected workplace experience. Flexible planning and adaptable spaces ensure the environment can evolve alongside the client’s changing business needs.

Delivered on time and on budget, the project demonstrates the value of early collaboration and thoughtful workplace design in creating a high-performing environment built for the future.
