McCormack completed four speculative fit-outs at 55 Collins Street, a popular location complimented with a vibrant retail plaza and surrounded by some of Melbourne’s finest dining and fashion establishments.

Effective stakeholder management was paramount throughout this project. The McCormack projects team actively contributed multiple value-added suggestions. For instance, faced with the challenge of an existing floor slab embedded with steel conduit, instead of opting for polished concrete—which would have exposed the conduit—the team proposed and installed concrete-look vinyl planks as a practical alternative.

The site and delivery teams effectively managed coordination among three different builders using two goods lifts. Open communication with the Mirvac operations team enabled the implementation of various strategies, ensuring smooth vertical transportation and minimising disruptions.
