McCormack was engaged by APG to deliver the Level 7 fitout at Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland, located at 283 Vulture Street, South Brisbane. The project transformed a cold shell into seven purpose-built family apartments for larger families and those requiring extended stays while their child receives medical treatment in Brisbane.
Delivered within a fully occupied facility opposite the Queensland Children’s Hospital and Mater Mothers’ Hospital, the project required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to families staying at the House.
More than a construction project, it was an opportunity to contribute to a place that provides comfort, connection and a home away from home during some of life’s most challenging moments. We’re proud to have played a part in creating additional accommodation that will support families for years to come.
