McCormack was appointed by Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC) to revitalise the iconic Junction Club in Moonee Ponds, delivering a striking façade upgrade under a Design & Construct contract. In collaboration with architect K2LD, the project reimagined the historic venue with a bold, contemporary identity that strengthens its connection to the local community.
The upgrade introduced a dynamic colour palette and refined architectural elements that honour the club’s legacy while elevating its street presence. McCormack managed the project end to end, from demolition through to handover, ensuring disciplined planning, coordinated delivery and minimal disruption to the public realm.
The result is a renewed landmark that reinforces the Junction Club’s position at the heart of Moonee Ponds.
