IA Design were engaged with a brief to modernise the Customer Journey, and McCormack were engaged to Construct this brief into truly flexible spaces. Split over three levels and 3,000m2, Technology was a primary driver within the design concept, to promote Microsoft technology both physical and digital.

Features within the Customer Experience space included digital walls, demonstrations zones, interactive learning spaces, motion censored feature lighting connecting meeting rooms, multipurpose presentation rooms and seminar spaces. The entire facility is designed to connect each of the individual spaces to be used as one singular space, or as individual spaces.  Within the workplace areas, breakout spaces were modernised, parents’ rooms and care rooms were introduced, and workstation upgrades were undertaken.

The Customer Experience floor was designed to cultivate a community hub that reflected the energy of the activities happening within.  The spaces were orchestrated to connect with the occupant promoting active learning through technology and to provide flexible social zones. Lighting and technology were used to draw the occupant on a journey through the fitout and to discover the individual zones around the curved corners.
