As part of the ongoing evolution of Collins Place, McCormack partnered with Turner & Townsend to lead the refurbishment of the hospitality lounge. The project included new floor tiling, a complete demolition and reconstruction of lower ground amenities, updated joinery, and the integration of new heating panels.
The works were carefully planned and executed within a tight schedule to align with the overall programme, ensuring all retail outlets remained fully operational during business hours with no disruptions. To achieve this, our team collaborated closely with stakeholders from Mirvac’s operations team and Turner & Townsend. Through a strategic approach, we successfully coordinated the refurbishment, allowing the new floor tiling to be installed seamlessly while maintaining business activities.
A key focus of the project was enhancing the visitor experience, with the refurbished dining area designed as a welcoming break destination for office and trade workers in the precinct. We are confident that these improvements will create a vibrant community hub that will serve the city for years to come.
