As part of the ongoing repositioning of 31 Queen Street, McCormack returned to deliver a speculative suite fit-out on Level 12. This project follows a series of upgrades completed throughout the tower, reaffirming our continued role in revitalising this centrally located CBD asset.
The scope involved a full workplace fit-out, including a front-of-house, boardroom, meeting and quiet rooms, kitchen, breakout areas, and open-plan workstations. Key features included polished concrete, fluted acoustic panels, and a large kitchen/lounge with integrated hot desks and custom joinery, all designed with a refined, residential-inspired aesthetic.
The project was delivered in a live environment, requiring careful staging and coordination with the client’s existing tenants. Works were staged separately from the neighbouring tenancy, with a split permit and construction approach. Despite these challenges, the team maintained continuity and minimised disruption, ensuring a seamless delivery and contributing to its successful lease within weeks of completion.
