McCormack was engaged by Dexus to deliver a spec suite on Level 34 of 360 Collins Street, an A-grade office building recognised for its high-quality amenities, hospitality and hotel-style concierge services.
Drawing inspiration from the hospitality and luxury retail offering within the precinct, McCormack worked closely with Venko Design to translate this character into the suite through a considered palette of stone, timber, chrome and burgundy tones. Sculptural forms and feature elements were incorporated throughout to create distinctive moments while maintaining a cohesive workplace environment.
Custom feature joinery was constructed as a curved, timber-framed glazed divider, defining the kitchen from the surrounding workspace while maintaining visual connection and an open feel. Double-glazed, acoustically rated room partitions provided improved privacy and reduced noise transfer between spaces, while retaining natural light and supporting the open character of the suite.
Close collaboration between Dexus, Venko Design and McCormack throughout the project enabled the design intent to be carried through from concept to completion, delivering a considered spec suite that reflects the quality and amenity of its Collins Street address.
