McCormack delivered Garnaut’s new workplace at 484 St Kilda Road as design and construct contractor, in collaboration with Studio 103.
The project centred on the construction of a flexible, high-performance floorplate for a private wealth advisory firm. Front-of-house zones were built to accommodate both events and discreet client meetings, with operable pivot doors enabling adaptable use. Precise coordination of services, acoustics and bespoke joinery ensured the design intent was achieved.
Early site investigations identified slab-level inconsistencies following demolition. Our team moved quickly to assess, document, and implement a compliant rectification strategy, keeping the programme on track and costs under control. Clear communication and close collaboration with the client, consultants and building management ensured alignment at every stage.
