McCormack completed the refurbishment of the Commercial Hotel in South Morang, a well-established local venue and community landmark. Working with Endeavour Group, the project repositioned the pub to better suit modern hospitality needs and attract a broader customer base.
The layout is divided into two distinct areas. The sports bar is designed for high energy and strong flow, centred around a feature bar that improves visibility and movement, with a stage supporting live music and events for more than 300 patrons. The restaurant offers a quieter, more relaxed setting, with family-friendly elements including a children’s play area and a gelato bar.
The works were delivered by McCormack’s in-house trades, including carpentry, plastering and painting. The scope covered new partitions, ceiling make-good, and a full internal and external repaint, including the façade, structural steel, signage, and all internal walls, ceilings and timber linings.
The project further strengthens our relationship with Endeavour Group and reflects our experience delivering hospitality environments that are practical, well-resolved, and commercially focused.
