Following the successful completion of the McMillan Shakespeare Sydney office, McMillan Shakespeare Group appointed McCormack to deliver its Brisbane workplace fitout. The project spanned two levels and 2,400m², with a focus on connectivity, wellbeing, and operational efficiency.
Delivery was carefully staged to maintain full business operations. Level 19 was completed in 10 weeks (1.5 weeks ahead of program) and handed over for occupation before works commenced on Level 18, which followed in 8 weeks (2 weeks ahead). This ensured a smooth transition with no disruption to day-to-day operations.
The workplace features natural materials, curved timber elements, soft lighting, and expansive glazing, creating a warm, contemporary environment. Central kitchens, breakout spaces, and collaborative zones support team connection while preserving functionality across both floors.
A strong outcome delivered ahead of schedule and with minimal operational impact.
