With a commitment to sustainability, meticulous consideration guided the office layout, distinguishing between elements to be retained and those requiring new construction. Front-of-house meeting rooms retained their essence but underwent rejuvenation, featuring new carpeting, doors, sleek black aluminium framing, and a French wash paint finish on partitions in the arrival area.
The space appears welcoming with soft curves, a green marble sign in counter top, an industrial style wall light and an abundance of natural light showcasing Melbourne’s urban streetscape. Further complementing the hard surfaces are a woollen rug on the floor to absorb sound, soft seating and strategically placed greenery to contribute to a holistic sense of well-being.
Overall, the kitchen and lounge seamlessly connect the back-of-house and front-of-house areas, creating a versatile space for staff to enjoy lunches, engage in informal meetings, or host a variety of events. The design encapsulates diverse working arrangements, spanning from open-plan areas to enclosed offices for confidential discussions, all with the primary goal of providing ample natural light and panoramic views from every vantage point within the office space.
