Charter Hall re-engaged McCormack as the Design & Construct contractor for the ongoing repositioning of 9 Castlereagh Street, one of Sydney’s premier office towers, delivering a transformative upgrade to the ground floor lobby.

The revitalised space reimagines the traditional lobby experience, creating a hospitality-driven third space that welcomes both tenants and the broader community. Featuring a new café and bar, expansive dining area, and premium finishes throughout, the completed works combines form and function to elevate everyday interactions.

WMK Architecture led the design, introducing natural light, biophilic elements, and refined materials to create a relaxed and social atmosphere that reflects the prestige of the address. Reagh’s café and bar brings energy to the space, attracting foot traffic and activating the street frontage.

Working within a live environment, McCormack delivered staged works with minimal disruption, integrating sustainable solutions and structural upgrades. The result is a contemporary, community-centred destination that enhances the building’s amenity and long-term value.
