So how did this asset repositioning project all take shape?

McCormack spearheaded a comprehensive project to elevate and redefine the stature of the A-grade building at 412 St Kilda Road. This landmark commercial space spans 11,321m2 across 18 floors and enjoys a prime location, boasting stunning vistas of the Shrine of Remembrance and botanical gardens, with convenient access to Southbank.

In collaboration with leading designers and engineers, McCormack focused on enhancing the property’s value through turnkey fit-outs, exterior refurbishments, and spec fit-outs. A key feature of the project was the establishment of a café, transforming the building into a boutique business hub that seamlessly combines productivity with leisure.

Originally envisioned as luxury apartments, the building has been repurposed to accommodate contemporary workspaces tailored to vibrant young companies. Strategically positioned above the forthcoming Anzac Train Station, slated to be one of just five new stations completed by 2025, the building embodies innovation and forward-thinking in urban development.
