Neoscape engaged McCormack to deliver a gym and laundry upgrade at 221 Pelham Street, Carlton, within a student accommodation asset, focusing on compact, efficient amenity spaces that support everyday resident use.
What was previously a combined laundry and breakout area has been transformed into a gym and upgraded laundry facility. The gym is designed around a central free weights zone, supported by functional and machine-based training areas, arranged to maximise usability within a tight footprint. Cardio equipment is positioned to maintain clear circulation, while a dedicated stretch area supports warm-up and recovery.
A new compact laundry and associated back-of-house storage area was also delivered, improving resident amenity and operational efficiency without encroaching on the primary training space.
