McCormack is excited to announce the commencement of renovation works at Power House, located at 34 Lakeside Drive, Albert Park.
The project was officially launched with a ceremonial event featuring speeches by Tim Ryan, CEO of Lord Somers Camp & Power House, and representatives from the City of Port Phillip, Parks Victoria, and other key stakeholders. The occasion highlighted the importance of these upgrades in enhancing accessibility and creating a modern space that will serve the community for years to come.
The works include an asbestos roof replacement, installation of a DDA-compliant lift and structural stair, upgraded and new amenities, extensive services improvements, and external balustrade and louvre replacements. The exterior will also be rendered and painted, giving this iconic building a revitalised appearance.
This project marks a significant milestone for the client and will be a key transformation for the Albert Park community. Visitors to the park can expect to see the works progress in the coming months.
