McCormack is proud to announce the successful completion of the GMHBA Multidisciplinary Healthcare Hub, a cutting-edge facility designed to provide integrated health services to the Geelong community. Located on the ground floor of GMHBA’s head office on Moorabool Street, the hub offers a comprehensive suite of services, including dental care, physiotherapy, eye care, private health insurance, and soon, medical services. Open to all residents, this modern facility addresses the growing demand for accessible healthcare options in the region.
Designed with both functionality and aesthetic appeal, the hub incorporates modern materials such as travertine stone, exposed brick, timber, and GMHBA’s signature colours, creating a welcoming, sophisticated environment. Artwork by Indigenous artist Jenna Oldaker further highlights the cultural significance of the region. The facility is strategically positioned to make healthcare more accessible while fostering a collaborative environment for personalized, coordinated care.
Despite changes to the project’s scope during construction, McCormack’s team swiftly adapted, condensing the timeline to ensure timely delivery. Close collaboration with consultants throughout the design phase enabled the implementation of value management strategies, maintaining budget efficiency without compromising quality.
The result is a state-of-the-art healthcare hub that reflects GMHBA’s mission to deliver integrated, patient-focused healthcare and supports the continued growth and wellbeing of the Geelong community.
