McCormack was established over 50 years ago by Jack McCormack. What started as a small operation run out of Jack’s garage in 1969 has grown into a successful and expansive construction company, still guided by the principles laid down by Jack in those early years. We now boast a more complete offering while continuing to operate under a boutique model that allows us to maintain a collaborative and integrated approach to client projects and embrace a team that feels like family.

A strong future is built on solid foundations. Remaining true to our culture and values, we continue to grow and inspire through the structures we build and the experiences we offer our people. With this strong foundation we ensure our growth for today and into the future, whilst also setting industry standards for service, reliability, and quality.

McCormack has developed an Environmental Sustainability Action Plan because we want to demonstrate our goal of reducing carbon emissions in line with government targets. As an organisation, we believe this is crucial in revolutionising sustainable operations in the commercial sector.

We are committed to working towards carbon neutrality by 2030, McCormack will achieve this by working on four key areas. By reducing energy consumption, carbon emissions, waste output and water usage, we can embed sustainable practices in the work we provide each day.

We accept and seek to raise awareness of our impact in the construction industry and want to improve environmental and sustainable competence across our teams while reducing emissions.
