COMMUNITY IMPACT

At McCormack, we prioritise sustainability and social impact as fundamental principles. Engaging with the communities we serve is a crucial aspect of our activities on both national and local levels. We partner with various organisations that perform remarkable work to support communities and individuals in need.

LIGHTHOUSE FOUNDATION

McCormack has a long-term commitment to the Lighthouse Foundation pledging more than just financial support.

We were proud to dedicate our time and resources to upgrading their existing facilities in Cremorne which was a very important mission for us, and one we didn’t take lightly.

As a business that values the role sport plays in bringing people together, McCormack has partnered with the Brisbane Lions for the 2026 and 2027 AFL seasons. Following the club’s recent premiership success, the partnership reflects a shared focus on culture, connection and team-first performance: principles that closely align with McCormack’s ‘Family Built’ values.

McCormack also partners with Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland to provide meaningful support for families in need. Our team is delivering a full-floor fitout within a facility that operates at capacity year-round, enabling accommodation for up to seven additional families. In collaboration with the Brisbane Lions, we have also created game day experiences for families staying at the House, offering access to captain’s runs, pre-game warm-ups and opportunities to connect with players.

PROPERTY INDUSTRY FOUNDATION (PIF)

Through its Haven Project, PIF brings together the property and construction industry to build homes for at-risk youth, directly addressing the growing issue of youth homelessness. McCormack has been a dedicated supporter of this mission for years, reinforcing its commitment to community impact and social responsibility.

McCormack has actively supported the Property Industry Foundation in recent years, most recently as major partners in PIF Steps for Youth Homelessness, helping raise $140,000 and winning both the Women’s 5K, the relay, and the annual Sydney Charity Regatta. We look forward to plenty more fundraisers in the years to come.
